Machine Learning, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
Nowadays AI plays a role in many fields of research. For this reason not all news items about AI have been included in this chapter; some have been added to the chapters of their application. This also applies to items at the intersection of AI and quantum computing. For instance, some items regarding AlphaGenome are in the molecular biology section. AlphaGenome is probably the greatest achievement of the past year. It allows scientists to investigate the human genome without conducting lab experiments. There had already been tools covering part aspects of AlphaGenome but none of them had been equally good.
